- 2 turnips
- 1 potato
- 20 g pasteurized ricotta
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
Suggested portion for a 12 month old baby: around 200 to 230g (to be adapted according to his appetite)
Wash, peel and cut the turnips and the potato into pieces. Put them in a saucepan and cover with water. Cook for about fifteen minutes (check the cooking with the tip of a knife). Mix the cooked vegetables with the ricotta and nutmeg.
Turnips are roots of the same family as cabbage and radishes. The younger they are, the more delicate, sweet and tasty they are.
