Rice Cream with Tomato and Basil

Ingredients:

  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 200 ml of infant milk
  • 15 g rice cream (or rice flour)
  • 2 or 3 small fresh basil leaves

Serves:

Suggested portion for an 8 month old baby: approximately 200g (to be adapted according to his appetite)

Preparation:

Peel and seed the tomatoes (if you do not have a tomato peeler, immerse them for 2 minutes in boiling water to loosen the skin more easily).

Cut them into pieces and put them with the chopped basil leaves and the milk in a saucepan.

Cook over low heat until boiling (watch out for overflows!).

Mix and add the rice cream, mixing well. Transfer to low heat for 5 minutes while stirring.

Let cool slightly before serving.

Use the milk your baby usually drinks.
