Revisited ham endives

Ingredients:

  • 1 endive
  • 10 g finely chopped white ham
  • 1 potato
  • 10 g grated cheese
  • 1 C. whole cream

Serves:

Suggested portion for an 8 month old baby: approximately 200g (to be adapted according to his appetite)

Preparation:

Peel the potato and cut it into pieces. Put them in the basket of your steamer with the endive. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, mix the cooked vegetables with the spoonful of cream and place the chopped ham in the bottom of a ramekin. Cover with mashed potatoes and endive and sprinkle with grated cheese. Spend 2 minutes under the grill of your oven to melt the cheese.

Advice :

Here is a traditional dish in a version adapted to your baby, with extra potato to make a complete dish. The amount of animal protein remains the same as from 6 months -10 gr- and it is necessary to continue to mince the meat well. Your baby can start to taste cheese in 10 to 15 gram portions. However, you do not need to give it daily because it is an important source of salt, fat and protein. Choose it pasteurized.
